During these 4 days the attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive clarification on areas of examination during a Yudansha exam that will include, but not limited to the following:
This event is open to all Aikidoka, Nikyu & up. All ASU Dojo Cho/Sensei (of all levels) are encouraged to attend, as the information presented will be mutually & beneficially essential in ensuring an administrative efficiency between the dojo and ASU, a more universal examination curriculum within ASU, and promote a higher quality of exam results for the beginning yudansha grades.
At the discretion of the presiding Sensei, testing may be conducted at the conclusion of the 4 day intensive. The presiding Sensei will determine if the test candidate has met all the requirements for the prospective grade. Please contact Shidokan to arrange application and review for a Test Candidate.
All Dojo Cho/Sensei are encouraged to be in attendance of their student’s exam. If they cannot attend their student’s exam, they are encouraged to appoint a senior representative as substitute.
This year’s event will be hosted in co-operation with Aikido of Flagstaff.
If you are a smaller group in the region and not able to host many or any events with these higher level instructors, please contact Shidokan. Each year we would like to co-host this event in an effort to build relationships between smaller Aikido groups within the region and the higher level instructors. Shidokan will also reach out to a smaller dojo in the region and offer this opportunity. If you are a smaller group in any region that would like to see a Yudansha Prep & Exam Intensive held near you, please contact Shidokan as we are expanding this event to other regions within the country. Thank you for your support.
