Please join us for the 7th annual Philadelphia Aikido Bridge Seminar at the River of Life Dojo in Fort Washington, PA. The seminar will take place over 4 days with over 21 hours of training from 4 fantastic teachers including Bill Gleason shihan from Shobu Aikido in Boston Massachusetts, Greg O’Connor sensei of Aikido Centers of New Jersey in Hanover New Jersey and Reg Reid sensei from Aikido of Thermopolis in Thermopolis Wyoming.

The dojo is located on 3.5 acres in suburban Philadelphia just minutes from the Pennsylvania Turnpike and I-476, which connects to I-95. Several hotels and places to eat are just a 5 minutes drive.

"Various groups of people often visited the dojo to watch O Sensei demonstrate and listen to his lectures. O Sensei might do iriminage each time, but the emphasis and approach would change to relate tothe group’s specific interests. For a group of dancers, he would emphasize the grace and beauty in the power of his movement. A group of budoka would be shown the crisp power and devastating martial application. To a group of artists he would demonstrate the power of creativity and the artistic awareness that develops through practice. The essence of Aikido is spontaneity and change."

Bill Gleason Sensei and Raso Hultgren Sensei co-taught an awesome seminar this weekend at Aikido of Maine. The theme of this event was MANIFESTING AIKIDO PRINCIPLE THROUGH KOKYU AND CONNECTION and both teachers did an awesome job working with each other to give this a real unified and complementary feel. This was the first of four paird nanadan ASU events. The next one is hosted by Chicago Aikikai with Tres Hofmeister sensei and Robin Cooper sensei, June 9-11. Their Theme is SPONTANEOUS ADAPTATION TO CHANGING CIRCUMSTANCES! This will also be a great event! There is still some space.
