The Aikido Chuseikan Dojo of Tampa Bay is proud to again host a special seminar by Sensei Dan Messisco over Memorial Day weekend. Sensei Messisco holds a 6th dan in Aikido, and is known for his emphasis on the quality of grace in movement and spirit.

4-Day Sword Intensive in Nashville
George Ledyard, Aikido 7th Dan, will conduct the 2019 4-Day Sword Intensive in Nashville August 30th - September 2nd 2019
This four day block of instruction will focus on the aiki sword work of Mitsugi Saotome Shihan. We will cover the 12 Kumi-tachi of Saotome Sensei that are required for testing up to Ni-dan in detail. Also, we will provide principle based instruction on Saotome Sensei's Two Attacker Forms, his Two Sword Forms, and we will also do daily work with the shinai (bamboo swords).
This is a unique training event. It is open to any student of Ai-kido who has solid basic sword skills but it is instructor level content. It is particularly geared to help dojo-cho and instruc-tors teaching sword at their dojos take their skills up several levels. It is intensive work. If anyone feels that this wasn't the best sword training they've had, I will refund their registration fee. All affiliations are welcome.
