ASU Western Fall Camp

Aikidoka of all affiliations are welcome to the second annual ASU Fall camp in the West! Once again we will feature a bevy of accomplished senior instructors: Wendy Whited, George Ledyard, Raso Hultgren, Tres Hofmeister and the host, Chetan Prakash. In addition we expect to receive instruction by a number of highly talented guests: Lee Crawford, Tom Haines, Mark Adachi, Dave Goldberg, Kay Sandacz and Luis Escamilla.

The Camp will offer training at all levels from basic to advanced in both empty-hand and weapons, as well as special sessions on instructors’ training and test preparation. There will be a number of concurrent sessions in two rooms (and outside, weather permitting). Dan testing will be possible: please enquire.

As special features: there will be two sessions of tameshigiri (test-cutting with live blades), Dojo party Saturday night, ASU Town Hall and lunch Sunday, and a Tequila tasting Sunday night.

Nearby hotels are very reasonable in November; students attending the whole camp are also welcome to stay in the  Dojo for free (otherwise, $15/night).
