Taught by Prakash Shihan, Escamilla Sensei and others, these workshops seek to transmit the principles and practice of Saotome Shihan’s teachings with bokken and jo.
Workshop 1: Saturday, May 16, 2026.
Pre-requisite: Sword solo attack and first partner form (shomen-do-yokomen-ashi-kote-tsuki, or similar). Students enrolling in the workshop can attend any prior Sunday at 10:30 am to practice this form
10 am -12:30 pm: Awase and Selections from Kumitachi 1-5 and variations
2:30-5 pm: Selections from Kumitachi 6-15
