This 4-Day Intensive will cover all aspects of Aikido randori. We will teach the basic movement patterns, strategies, and metal aspects. We will use slow and medium speed exercises to teach how to stay aware multiple attackers simultaneously. A strong emphasis will be on how to stay calm during a randori and how that effects decision making while under pressure.
We will cover empty hand randori as well as randori against attackers with weapons.
This intensive is open to all affiliations. It requires good basic ukemi skills so is recommended for 1st Kyu and up but recommendation by your instructor will be taken into consideration.
