Bozeman Annual Spring Seminar with Chetan Prakash Sensei

Chetan Prakash Sensei (6th Dan, Ueshiba Juku) is a direct student of Saotome Shihan and a senior instructor of Aikido Schools of Ueshiba. This weekend we’ll explore the intimate relationship of empty-hand aiki to weapons practice, including weapons take-aways. In the process, we’ll develop our understanding of the function of atemi, and of what constitutes an honest attack by uke. On Saturday afternoon we’ll practice with jo vs. bokken and some of the jo patrol kata.
