The theme of the 2017 East Coast Bridge in Orlando will be “Kizuna”. The kanji represents a concept of coming together, which the Bridge symbolizes, encourages and supports. It speaks of weaving infinite threads of human interaction. Reinforcing the bonds that tie us together through the common study of our art form into a fabric of strength and beauty. The common heart of Aikido and the communication of Aiki are a foundation of this for all of us. It is what the Bridge is made of.
Steve Fasen Sensei (ASU) facilitates the bridge, inviting significant ASU instructors to share in strengthening the fabric and integrity of our art form and its affiliations. Additional instructors this year include: Greg Angus – Canada, Kimberly Richardson – Wa, Micheline Tissier – France.
